This 30 dollar rebate offer is ongoing through the end of November.
Affordable way to get the power of a 6 core X99 system when you
pair it with the I7-5820k. Those are selling for a little over $370 now.

If you plan on running dual graphics cards in SLI or Crossfire it would be better to go with
the 5930K to have the 40 PCI-e lanes it provides instead of the 28 of the 5820K.

UPDATE: Newegg is now offering these two in a combo deal for $568.98 and when you mail in the
30 dollar rebate it brings the final cost down to $538.98. Best deal right now if Newegg doesn't collect
sales tax in the state where you live and a Micro Center store is too far away to drive to.

The X99-UD4 sold by itself at Newegg is about 4 dollars more in price than what Amazon sells for.

Here's a very thorough review of the UD4 from KitGuru http://www.kitguru.net/components/motherboard/luke-hill/gigabyte-x99-ud4-motherboard-review/

Thanks man. Microcetner is having the exact same deal if you pair the X99 with CPU bundle and then rebate it.

Yes, the Microcenter bundle deal could get you a lower total price but it depends on how far
you have to drive to the store and what the sales tax rate is in the state that the Micro Center
store is located in. With the driving distance for me plus sales tax it makes it about a wash
for the cost of the two. The store in my home state has yet to open but should be doing so
in the next 6 months. Then the MC deal will be really advantageous for me.

I paid 326 for the 5820k and 190 for the motherboard [thanks to this rebate] after tax.
