How do you get one without paying an arm and a leg ? Look at these prices on Newegg. MSI's version are double the price.

You can buy a pre-built gaming PC from Amazon with a Ryzen 5 3600. A very good CPU that can be hackintoshed or used for Windows Gaming.

Sells for $699 for the whole computer. It has a less than desirable A320 motherboard but that's a tradeoff you'd have to live with. If you keep it.

You can also remove the 5500 XT and use it in your hackintosh and resell the AMD based IBUYPOWER system with a 1650 or some other Nvidia graphics card suitable for gaming in it. Then you get the macOS compatible 5500 XT and regain most of the money you spend on the pre-built. Getting it closer to the $200 price it should sell for.

The IBuyPower pre-built is one of the best sellers on Amazon right now. Young E-sports gamers use these to play Dota 2 CS:GO, Overwatch etc at 1080p. They don't need the highest end graphics cards with 8GB of Vram such as the nearly impossible to buy at close to retail AMD 5700 XT.

Just had a brief scan over Amazon UK - no RX550XTs available at all. Then checked 5700, similar. But I did see an RX 6800 XT for £1595.00 ...

The world has gone mad. The sooner all these miners loose their stake and give up the better for the PC world.

You can now get the 5700 XT at Amazon.com but it's still way over normal retail price. What a shame. The 5700 XT has full support in Catalina and Big Sur but hackintoshers can't afford to buy one and stay under budget. The average price for a complete new build used to be under $1,149.99.

Nvidia a few weeks ago released a statement they were going to do something to their video cards that prevents mining... Not that it helps Hackintosh any maybe AMD will follow suit!
