I am thinking about getting a Gigabyte GTX 780 for by build but I don't think that my Corsair CX500 power supply will be able to power it. Will this be enough power? I also want to know if the 780 is good for gaming, graphic designing, and video editing/rendering. I know that it will be better then HD4000 but it is worth it for some of these options?

The 780 will be great! Lots of CUDA cores for your graphic work and lots of gusto for the gaming. How much are you into the gaming? The reason I ask is if you are into it a lot, like I am, get a bigger PSU so you can upgrade to a dual 780 SLI config in the future. I'm currently running that exact PSU the HX 750 but will be upgrading very shortly. I know a lot of people think that is enough but the GPU's use a lot of juice and I'm overly cautious. You can always use the Corsair PSU calculator to determine for yourself.

Good luck! :)

There are known issues with that graphics card

check out this thread: specifically post #22

it will cause OpenCL crashes because it utilizes the GK110B GPU.

heads up before you purchase

Gosh thanks! I really want the gigabyte version because it has a higher clock speed and it seems like it has better cooling solution. I guess I cant worry about ~100 MHz is it wouldn't work. With my luck, as soon as a got the Asus one, the Gigabyte one would get supported :banghead:
