Surprised the Ultra Gaming doesn't have a DisplayPort, I guess knowing there'll be a beefy dGPU added..
USB's are ASMedia < one for RehabMan.

The UD5 is a super board and highly spec'd with the ability to run a secondary Thunderbolt add-in card.

I bought the older Z170 UD5 TH mainboard with HDMI 2.0. It was my first choice in relation to price, performance and ability for Kaby Lake.

The Gigabyte z270 Gaming 8 & 9 with HDMI 2.0 were too expansive for me.

Awesome! I've considered buying a few AORUS boards to test out. I suspect audio is going to be an issue with those.

Shiny! I've been holding off on the UD5 board to see what Apple announces. Interested to hear the results.

Please let me know how it goes. I just updated my old Hackintosh system with a Gigabyte Z270x UD5 and cannot boot past clover screen. Clover won't even boot into the Windows 10 or 7 drives that I have installed. I'm hoping that it is an easy oversight that can be fixed quickly.

Gerat we waiting you test . But i have important question . why make first test on GigaByte and also prefer GigaByte ?
I know in Hardware list they are many Mother boards . But i found the GigaByte Best choose when talk about compatibility.
