OK.
I made the changes to the Config plist.
First only Dart=0. When the machine rebooted there was no Start End, Start End text on the Apple Boot screen but it hung at the end of the timeline. Then added -keepsyms=1 to that same line in the Boot args.
No change. A nice clean boot screen but it hung at the end.

The lilu and whatevergreen software is no longer in beta. Well there are beta versions of up-coming releases but you're not trying those right now. The debug option causes a lot of logging of actions for, yes, debugging. So produces tons of text which is saved in ...logs. Not required for general use. Disablegfxfirmware, often used on the iGPU when running headless. In your case, not needed.

Can we have a screengrab of verbose output so that we can see where it is 'hanging'? I forget if you've posted this already, so apologies if you have. Press SpaceBar at the Clover menu and select the -v or verbose option.

:) <--- I keep smiling even though I'm getting nowhere o_O

OK.
I thought I'd boot into safe mode and try the file dump again.
Two files attached below.

Am looking at these - just spotted a 'bogie'. Another kext you do not need is FakePCIID_XHCIMux.kext. Your Z270 does not have an EHCI controller ... Same procedure as before.

EDIT 1:

Found this -

Aptio.jpg

EDIT 2:

I would also remove the FakeSMC_GPUSensors.kext for now - until we sort out the display. It sometimes conflicts.

:)

OK.
I cannot find FakePCIID_XHCIMux.kext.
I did find FakePCIID.kext. Should I remove that?
It is in a CCC safetyNet folder.

The FakeSMC_GPUSensors.kext wasin an OFF folder inside the EFI Folder. I removed it.

ReBooting...

OK.
I found those two kexts, deleted them and rebuilt the cache.
Attached is the verbose screen shot.

I also made a copy of the boot log in Clover Config.
This was prior to removing the kexts. That's how I found them.
Do you want to see that?

Let's get back to basics keep things as simple as possible.

Forget about installing hackintosh kexts to /Library/Extensions/. Not worth the headache for zero benefit. Just causes confusion.

Never install kexts to /System/Library/Extesnions/.

Enable SIP to block unsigned kexts from loading.

You don't need and FakePCIID stuff.

You don't need GenericUSBXHCI.

@pastrychef
Got it.

How do you enable SIP?

Do you want me to delete the FakePCIID and GenericUSBXHCI kexts?

Yes, delete all whatever FakePCIID stuff you have.

Yes, delete GenericUSBXHCI.

Where am I saving this new config?
Is this replacing the config.plist inside my clover folder, inside the EFI folder, in the hidden EFI partition?
I really have no grasp of this and without specific instructions, this is more than likely how all these mistakes were made.

OK.
I thought I might get an answer before trying this.
I deleted the unwanted kext...
Changed the SIP to enabled...
Renamed the original config.plist...
Saved the new config.plist in the same folder...

Rebooted to your Clover Boot and it just recylces back over and over.
I can't get past your Clover Boot page.
So I booted back from my USB drive.
I'm going to remove the new config.plist and put the old one back.
