Gigabyte GA-z170N - Audio not working?

I have got Mojave installed and for the life of me, I have not been able to get the onboard Audio to work at all?
I have gone through the various options in Multibeast and I am no wiser.

I am currently using a USB Audio device, and that's works great, but I would much prefer to have the Onboard AUDIO working.

Anyone offer any advice, or better still, point to a post that will help? I have looked, but not found.

LOL I am such a fool.
Yup, its me again. It WAS crackling but I have turned down the volume on iTunes itself and it seems to have resolved it.
