Make sure that you have this written in your

org.chameleon.Boot.plist file.....this file should be in your EXTRA folder

also make sure that you have

VoodooTSCSync.kext

placed in EITHER your EXTRA folder OR use a kext installer to place it in your SYSTEM/LIBRARY/EXTENSIONS......folder

providing you have both these your computer should boot and go into MAVERICKS

IF you have a 5XX Nvidia or earlier card you need to have GRAPHICS ENABLER set to YES
IF you have a 6XX or 7XX Nvidia card you need GRAPHICS ENABLER set to NO

Yes, make sure you have these kernel flags that I listed above.
Be sure to try 0x2000 (not 0x3000) and acpi=off. Don't need cpus=1. Just try the 4 flags listed above.

If those flags don't work, download these kexts (but don't change the flags):

copy them to your desktop and download and run KextBeast: http://www.tonymacx86.com/downloads.php?do=cat&id=3 (make sure you copy all the kexts to your desktop.)

Mate...i have Gigabyte GA-X79S-UP5 mobo, i7 3960x processor, 64gb ddr3 and a "poor" GTX650 card..
When i made this build following Dingleberry's guide (http://www.tonymacx86.com/user-buil...a-x79s-up5-x79-c606-i7-3930k-32gb-gtx670.html) i installe ML 10.8.5...only 1 week ago i decided to install Maverick.
I started with "-x -v GraphicsEnabler=No npci=0x3000 cpus=1"
After installation and MultiBeast 6.0 options enabled (for audio...fakesmc...lan....easybeast mode..) i installed voodootscsync.kext to enable all 6 cores and everything work perfectly.
In my org.chameleon.Boot.plist file only npci=0x3000 is enabled...no cpus=1 and no other flags...

Hi Mac Man...1 question. Why did you set Realtek Driver for lan? Dingleberry in his build (http://www.tonymacx86.com/user-buil...79s-up5-x79-c606-i7-3930k-32gb-gtx670-22.html) with the same mobo set Intel hnak's driver...
I know that internal lan is realtek one...so what do you think it's better to use?

I have done same thing but my card 670 so graphice enabler no and kernal flags npci=0x2000 working perfeckt but in multibeast i have done usekernalcache no .

Well done - so you are up and running, Congratulations.

It is best to use npci=0x2000 with Mavericks if you can as if you do need to use npci=0x3000 it breaks the onboard audio. If this happens to anyone then you can use an external USB audio device for audio.

As is often the case with X79 builds. What works for some people may not work for others. Sometimes its just down to a lot of patience and trial and error of different settings.

The Gigabyte website shows this motherboard has two ethernet ports, each one is controlled by a different ethernet chipset. One uses Intel and the other Realtek. Some people have been having some problems with the Intel kext with Mavericks in particular.

I found an interested thing at right now when I try to download the update app 10.9.1 from 10.9 via the link given by tonymacx86 (thread is OS X 10.9.1 Update http://www.tonymacx86.com/400-os-x-1....html#comments) I click the link Download the OS X 10.9.1 Update, the page show me the update is for the late 2013 mac pro now.

the update date is show Post Date: Dec 19, 2013 File Size: 203.1 MB, It is different from the file posted on Dec 16,2013,file size is 243.4 MB(chinese language vision page).So far,only the english update page show the new change,but other language pages are still show the old app download link.

my gear is E5-1620v1 sandy bridge-Ep + x79s-up5(c606)v1.0.
But I feel sad,I found a error, get a system message box when I try to install the newest update app 'your system is not support by this software',may be it is made for the true late 2013 vision Mac Pro,it is not suitable for the hackintosh,although we had the similar hardware.

can someone make some ideas to help us to solve that issue,maybe we can hack Socket 2011 machines as late 2013 mac pro,but need someone upload the new mac pro EFI first.I will wait,think about the issue.

Does someone can suggest me some method,modify the root or some other ways?

Use 'Software update' on your hack to get the correct 10.9.1 version of OSX.
