Hi All,

First Up thanks to the masters for all their work on this great project. Using iboot and Multibeast has made getting a working hackintosh so much easier than the first time I did it back in '07.

I have successfully got my 3rd hackintosh running with the following components.

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD4 rev1 F15 (£95 refurbished from ebay)
Processor: Intel i7 860 (£130 OEM from ebay)
Graphics: Apple GT120 (£56 secondhand from ebay)
RAM: Crucial 2 x 4Gb 1333MHz (£89.99 from Crucial)
Case: Antec P183 V3 (£60 secondhand from ebay)
PSU: Unbranded 600W (£24.99 from Maplins)
Heatsink: Akasa X4 (£24.99 from Maplins)
Optical Drive: Samsung (TSST-Corp) SH-S223C (£17.99 from Maplin)
HDD: Samsung Spinpoint HD103SJ F3 1TB (£39.99 from ebuyer)
Card Reader: Akasa AK-ICR-01B (£13.49 from ebay)
Bluetooth: Cambridge Radio chipset USB Adapter (£9.99 from Maplins)

Total £545.24

Installed with iBoot, Multibeast UserDSDT, Lnx2Mac's Realtek Driver.

Everything is working perfectly, apart from the built-in audio. I haven't even tried to get the built-in audio to work as I am using this machine for Pro Tools 9 and Logic Studio 9. I have some pretty good Firewire audio devices that I use instead (Apogee Duet, Tascam Digital Mixer with Firewire and M-Audio Profire 2626) which all work perfectly.

My build Geekbenchs at 10077 (64 bit), which I'm pretty happy with for a machine that cost less than a Mac Mini and looks pretty sharp in the Antec case

great!

I love the fact you got almost everything 2nd hand... i'm planning to do the same... although being my first built i'm not sure i should introduce the extra random factor :geek:
