Tips

- Follow Gigabyte GA-H270-HD3 UEFI bios compatibility settings from main installation article
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...upported-intel-based-pc.200564/#uefi_settings
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/recommended-bios-uefi-settings-for-beginners.130920/
- Use USB2 ports to setup macOS for the first time, USB3 ports won’t work for installation assistant
- Do not use MultiBeast to setup Sound kexts

multi-config.png

Working out of the box with Multibeast

- UEFI boot mode
- Ethernet with IntelMausiEthernet v2.3.0
- USB with 3rd party USB3.0 and Increase max port limit 200 series.

Install Nvidia Web drivers

- Make sure that you setup Clover v2.4k UEFI boot mode + NVRAM emulation, if not, Nvidia web driver won’t be used at reboot
- Check Nvidia Web drivers boot flag

If you still cannot activate web drivers, you can install manually Clover EFI v2 see:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/solving-nvidia-driver-install-loading-problems.161256/#Problem6

Main issue: sound

We first tried to install ALC887 drivers + 100/200 series audio with MultiBeast: this does not work.

Take a look at https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/solved-ga-h270-hd3-sierra-installation.229526/ for fixing sound issue with Solution #1 found here https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...lake-audio-onboard-and-or-hd-6x0-hdmi.221618/ with RehabMan/OS-X-Fake-PCI-ID

We managed to fix this without having to disable SIP.

- First, execute audio_cloverALC-120_v1.0f3.command in your Terminal. Command must detect your audio chipset: ALC887
- Then inject FakePCIID.kext and FakePCIID_Intel_HDMI_Audio.kext using KextBeast application

Thanks for your details, my steps based on yours. I just needed some different options, I'm not sure why.

So I have Gigabyte GA-H270-HD3 and this Multibeast configuration was fine for me.

For audio, I needed the 100/200 audio to fix the audio device to HDAS to HDEF.

Then:
Nvidia web driver
https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Fake-PCI-ID -> inject FakePCIID.kext and FakePCIID_Intel_HDMI_Audio.kext using KextBeast application
Reboot

I downloaded this repo: https://github.com/toleda/audio_CloverALC and I run in terminal:
sh http://audio_cloverALC-120.sh

Reboot and I just needed to set the right audio output.

Ps.: On my first try, I installed the ALC887 from MultiBeast. This steps didn't work after that. I had to do a clean install and follow these steps.

Hey Guys,

i have the same setup but my problem ist, that my Hackintosh wont shut down. It's always restarting after a few seconds. Anything like the "FixShutdown_0004" and "EvOreboot.kext" doesn't work. I read about someone had a driver issue, after solving this issue the hackintosh stoped turning on again.
Did you have a problem in this way too?

We have a similar issue, but this is only when we type on keyboard or move the mouse. Hackintosh seems to boot on any USB event. Did you search for any option (like wake-up on USB or something) in your motherboard EFI?

Tks a lot @mm00 and @LesChabis for helping.

I had to do one extra step: when I got to the desktop for the first time I had to apply some kexts as described here (Lilu.kext
IntelGraphicsFixup.kext)
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/macos-10-12-5-update.220866/#post-1504116

BIOS settings from here:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...-of-sierra-i5-7600-gigabyte-z270x-ud3.215025/

1. Download Sierra 10.12.6
2. Format USB stick (mac os journaled, guid partition map)
3. Create USB stick with Unibeast
4. Reboot, enter Mac OS install
5. Format Mac OS drive, finish install
6. Choose USB UEFI to boot from, choose Mac OS in Mac OS drive in Clover boot menu
7. Boot to desktop, use Multibeast as described by @mm00
8. Apply Lilu and IntelGraphicsFixup kexts, reboot
10. Install Nvidia Web Driver, reboot
12. Mount Mac OS drive EFI with Clover Configurator
13. Install audio drivers as described by @mm00
14. Reboot, rejoice. :)

Tks a lot guys!

I ran a few disk benchmarks after feeling the system a bit slower than it should. SSD write speeds were really low. I installed the Intel Generic AHCI SATA drivers using MultiBeast. Now it's 100%.

Picked up this board seeing it on the Customac recommended builds. Followed the settings above, loaded optimized defaults, etc.. Went to try and boot Unibeast in the USB 2.0 slot and the port appears to cut out once it starts to run the boot sequence of the installer. I had this happen when I tried to run ESXi and I had to use a PCIe USB (3.0) card to get it to run the installer, and then subsequently once installed, I could boot the USB that I installed it to with from the onboard ports. Has anyone else seen this issue with this board?

Got my built running just last week. Many thanks @mm00 and @LesChabis for posting your solutions to the audio!:clap::clap:
