Here are the Settings and couple of screens shots and pics also putting this board in my Powermac G5 case

Please i need to create guide like this. How do you attach pictures like that?

I built something similar after my Gigabyte G419 series mobo bit the dust. It's handy that the Core 2 Quad will work with the GA-G41mt-s2pt as I also had one lying around.

But...it worked great at first, WITH a bit of a meltdown, probably the result of side effects from a really bad HP printer driver for Win 7 (64bit). I just pulled out the USB cable and the system crashed.

Now, when it boots or reboots, it hangs up after identifying the CPU...sometimes it just recognizes the mobo...but either way, it just sits there for over a minute, then continues on like nothing ever happened.

I did the obvious stuff...resetting the cmos with a screwdriver or even pulling the battery, reverting to fail-safe defaults...it still does this. Once it finishes the slow boat to boot land, the system runs great with 8gb of Ram (although I did learn a lot about getting Gigabyte COMPATABLE Ram to even get past the endless beeping scenario).

I even decided to use @bios to re-flash the F2 bios for the board, but still the same slow boot sequence.

Any thoughts?

BEFORE it went goofy, I was using a Radeon 1gb HD 5450 with DVI, HDMI, and VGA; along with a cheap SATA 3 card adapter with a new SATA 3 drive at 6gb/s. That's really it...I just use this for writing and browsing.

For serious work I have a new pile of parts for a system to use with Adobe CC video editing software....it will scream...I have an ASUS X-99 deluxe USB 3.1 board with the real 5960x CPU, twin GEOforce 780 GPU's for SLI and 32 gigs of RAM, all going into a Corsair 710 case with a Corsair Hydro Series H110i GT liquid CPU cooler. Display is an LG 34 inch panoramic that will run 4k. Next week I will start assembly so I can figure out what parts I forgot to order...I'm sure I will be embarrassed, But I have given up on messing with the Gigabyte for now...as long as it keeps running fine.
