The following links provides verified GIGABYTE Beta BIOSes directly from the manufacturer. A list of boards, going all the way back to P35 and such, and lots of UEFIs for 6-series+ motherboards if you're interested in experimenting.

These modified BIOSes are also available, but they are specifically not provided by the manufacturer. Experimental/latest firmware.

I had been getting latest gigabyte beta bios updates from softpedia. They always had latest beta bios faster than anyone. This is a little more organized than the sort by date list on softpedia. :)

How to update our BIOS with modified BIOS these are .bin files?
If we write this code under the DOS is that work or what?

C:/>Efiflash
C:/>Efiflash ud5h-9-mod.bin

Hello. Someone update the BIOS of your motherboard to the modified bios?

Yes I do for 3 years now ! I didn't see issues

GA -EX58-UD5 is now on F13 mod11; I got it it from here :http://www.jzelectronic.de/jz2/index.php

What does it change ?
It uses recent updated bios settings for:( in my case)

1. Intel® RAID ROM 13.2.0.2134 (Raid0 Trim)
2. Realtek LAN ROM 2.59
3. JMicron ROM 1.07.28
4. Marvell Bios Version 1.0.0.1033 or 1.0.0.1029 (depends Chip-Version)
5. Marvell Firmware 2.2.0.1125 (depends Chip-Version)

For Your board GA Z77X-UD5-TH
the latest is F12j Mod, here: http://www.jzelectronic.de/jz2/Downloads/z77xup5thf12j-mod.exe

Specs:
Intel® PCI Accelerated SVGA BIOS 2158
Intel® GOP Driver Ivy 3.0.1027
Intel® GOP Driver Sandy 2.0.1024
Intel® Boot Agent GE 1.5.47
Intel® RAID for SATA - v13.1.0.2030
EFI RAID SataDriver - v13.1.0.2030
ME Firmware 8.1.51.1471

GA-Z77X-UP5 TH - F12j Mod (Ivy CPU-Patch 19 und Sandy CPU-Patch 28)

Besides: I always did my BIOS flashing wth QFlash within the Bios MENU and a USB stick !

:)

Yes - I have been using a modified bios on my Z77X-UD5H for quite some time and it is probably the most stable Bios I have used (F16 mod11).

Quick question Tony. Are these BETA BIOS's for Z68 and older generation boards UEFI?
