Gigabyte B550 Vision D (Thunderbolt 3) + AMD Ryzen 7 3700X + AMD RX 5600 XT

Are you still unable to download BIOS F13?
@CaseySJ @xtreem.p @Ploddles

Thanks all for your responses. I went back to the Gigabyte support page for the board with Safari again this morning and the download was successful. There apparently was an issue on Gigabyte's end at the time I tried yesterday.

Is there "Marvell® AQtion AQC113CS 10Gb Ethernet" macOS Driver ?

Marvell acquired Aquantia in 2019, so the AQtion AQC113CS is an Aquantia device. However, the device ID for AQC113 is not present in the macOS IONetworkingFamily.kext. I checked this on latest public beta of Monterey. Although we could spoof the device ID to AQC107, I'm not sure what would happen...

The following Aquantia device IDs are supported in latest Monterey:
Code:
                                <string>pci1d6a,1</string>
                                <string>pci1d6a,d107</string>
                                <string>pci1d6a,7b1</string>
                                <string>pci1d6a,80b1</string>
                                <string>pci1d6a,87b1</string>
                                <string>pci1d6a,88b1</string>
                                <string>pci1d6a,89b1</string>
                                <string>pci1d6a,91b1</string>
                                <string>pci1d6a,92b1</string>
Here are the known device IDs. AQC113 is not yet on the list, probably because it's too new.

Has anyone tried the new AMD Ryzen 5600G or 5700G on a Hackintosh?

Luckily, I was able to snag the ROG CROSSHAIR VIII EXTREME on pre-order from NewEgg yesterday during the livestream. I haven't decided if it'll be a Hackintosh yet, but I plan to fully kit it out. I've already got a 5950X and 128GB of 3600MHz memory in route. Now I just need to config & order an EK water setup and then wait for the Corsair 7000D to come back into stock.

Over the top. Par for the course! :)

$799 for the Crosshair VIII Extreme (X570). Available on Aug 30. Haven't seen the price for X570 ProArt yet.

P.S. I've been thinking of replacing my ASRock X570 Taichi with one of these new Asus boards. Haven't decided yet, but if I do, I'll sell the Taichi and use the same case, cooler, memory, power supply, and NVMe SSDs.

If you do go that route let me know if you're going to Hackintosh. I'm still on the fence.

Thank a lot

Unfortunately I am already supporting too many boards:
  • Z390 Designare
  • Z490 Vision D
  • Z490 Vision G
  • B550 Vision D
  • Asus X99 Deluxe II
  • ASRock X570 Taichi
It's quite straightforward to update OpenCore. I created a guide here:
:wave::think:
Casey! Help me!
I need a mobo like Designare to rebuild my Hackintosh, will buy a new mobo and CPU, I need fully working TB like Designare and Adobe apps to work too, ideas ?
