Gigabyte B550 Vision D (Thunderbolt 3) + AMD Ryzen 7 3700X + AMD RX 5600 XT

maybe he also need this?
Yes, that would be my recommendation as well. IOReg will show us what’s connected to GPP0 before we disable it.

Thanks folks for getting involved, here is the file. As far as I could understand - this got something to do with ACPI tables.

In the meantime I'll swing the test with the elements above disabled.
P.S. Same joy without Intel i225 and SMCProcessor:

2023-06-14 20:07:52 +0500 Sleep Entering Sleep state due to 'Idle Sleep':TCPKeepAlive=active Using AC (Charge:0%) 19 secs 2023-06-14 20:08:11 +0500 Wake Wake from Normal Sleep [CDNVA] : due to GPP0 PT21 PT22 PT23 USBW/User Using AC (Charge:0%) 79 secs

Addition: went ahead and applied GPP0 disabler - it is gone from IOReg, but issue persist even with GPP0 offline:

@cccip

You stated in first post that Wake on LAN is disabled in BIOS. However, have you also disabled Wake for network access in Settings -> Energy Saver?

Yes indeed, in a 1st place:

Have you tried the process of elimination where we disconnect all USB devices except wired keyboard and wired mouse, then check sleep behavior? If it works, then we reconnect USB devices one by one while checking sleep each time.

Made it slightly different way - enabled remote management and disconnected all USB devices from the system, then sent system to sleep using VNC. No change, wakes up same moment it goes to sleep.

Couple more things to check:
  • Does system sleep properly when Ethernet cable is unplugged?
  • What devices are connected to internal USB 2.0 headers?
  • Also compress and post the EFI folder, but remove serial numbers from PlatformInfo -> DataHub

Hi Casey,

- system still sleeps & wakes immediately with no Ethernet cable connected, or moved to 2nd LAN RTL8125 adapter
- obviously there are no sleep/wake issues with dual-booted Windows or Linux
- there are no USB devices attached to motherboard internal headers:

- sanitised EFI attached, feel free to delete it from the post when done verifying

I do appreciate you and @Vorshim92 spending your time on this :)

I just saw that you have the "Vision D-P" model. Sincerely I don't know the difference from the Vision D so I can't help you sorry

If you're using the BCM94360NG WiFi/BT module, please disable the three kexts highlighted below:

This may not solve the sleep problem, but it's something that should be done.
