Gigabyte B550 Vision D (Thunderbolt 3) + AMD Ryzen 7 3700X + AMD RX 5600 XT

New patch apply, first installation works but failed after reboot.
Restart in Monterey Rescue mode.
At the OpenCore boot picker we can press and release CMD-V to enable Verbose mode. Please try again with verbose mode enabled to see where the startup sequence freezes. It may be a good idea to temporarily disable any Ethernet kext from Kernel -> Kexts.

Also feel free to remove serial numbers from config.plist and post the compressed EFI folder.

CMD-V to enable Verbose mode => I saw rapidly this error randoming during installation
error 6238 6275
Flags

I post you the compressed EFI without serials in config.plist
Many thanks for your help!

Edit : Good ! SecureBootModel=Disabled (not Default)

Is there equivalent of "csrutil enable --without fs" in opencore ?
With this setup:

Apple Internal: disabled
Kext Signing: enabled
Filesystem Protections: disabled
Debugging Restrictions: enabled
DTrace Restrictions: enabled
NVRAM Protections: enabled
BaseSystem Verification: enabled
Boot-arg Restrictions: enabled
Kernel Integrity Protections: enabled
Authenticated Root Requirement: enabled

I apply
  • 03000000 - Disable kext signing (0x1) and filesystem protections (0x2).
But software like Autodesk Flame need to use Kext Signing: enabled

Thanks !

Can we wait and use Hackindrom, or do we need to go manual for 0.9.2?

We can use latest version of HackinDROM, but after the update is done we should confirm that the new kernel patches are installed.

The 0.9.2 EFI folder that I posted also includes the correct AppleIGB.kext for the two on-board Ethernet ports.

Thank you. I have that kext from my last tinkering, but can report that Hackindrom updated it fine with the CPU patches intact.

Hello,
Before upgrading my RyzenPro 5900X from Big Sur to Ventura, I would like to test it. So I installed Ventura on an external NVMe disk and connected to a motherboard's USB type A 3.2 Gen 1 port. I have a Vision D-P variant of the Gigabyte B550 version. To avoid any problems with ethernet ports, they were unplugged.

I then copied my previous EFI well-working folder (OC 0.9.2) from my internal SSD to a USB flash on its EFI partition.
I have also applied the new Kernel patch and configured the relevant section for my physical core counts (12 cores = 0C) has been treated.

At restart, I selected the USB flash, then the external disk, then loading process began (I enabled the verbose mode), at some time, the system restarts. So, I cannot reach the Ventura OS login page. Tried with other USB ports, same result.

I was able to catch last rows of the log before the system rapidly reboot, this is the screenshot.

Edit (Sat. 13/05): I also tried the EFI Folder downloaded from the recent @CaseySJ post, but I was unable to boot.

The cause of the kernel panic should be mentioned a few lines before the lines in the screenshot. We usually take a video of the boot process and then scrub back a few frames until we can see exactly where the kernel panic begins. If you can do that and post a screenshot of that video frame, we should be able to determine the cause.

I have to get the sleep working!

My hardawre details
Ryzen 9 5950X processor
Motherboard Gigabyte B550-VISION-D-P
RAM G Skil F4-3600C18D-64GTZN
SSD WD WDS500G1X0E
WiFi/BT module Broadcom BCM94360NG

Enclosed is the configuration.

BCM94360NG was not present when I installed the operating system (Monterey); however, a few months later, I installed it. Sleep has never been worked! Could you advise a configuration that would resolve the sleep issue? Many thanks
