The basics are latest Lilu and WEG kexts installed in Other on your Clover EFI bootloader and the addition of the boot flag under boot in Clover configurator agdpmod="pikera" boot flag. Then you need the iMac Pro 1,1 system definition. It's what most 5700XT users need to use. There are plenty of posts about if you google for it if you need longer explanations and details. I may not have the boot flag entirely correct in it's exactly spelling. For me disabling the integrated graphics and change to the iMac Pro system definition was mandatory to get an image.

RX 5700 XT working solid here.
Key needs

1. latest kexts, WhateverGreen and Lilu.
2. Boot section in clover = agdpmod=pikera
3. Graphics section in clover = Nothing
4. SMBIOS = I am using iMac19,1

Recommandations
Get Catalina working solid with iGPU first. then install graphics card, make sure you follow the recommend BIOS settings for your motherboard. < see multiple references through out.
