While I can't be absolutely certain about ALL of the listed motherboards, I am absolutely certain about the GA-Z87X-UD5H being unable to update the UEFI from F8 to F9 via the Q-Flash utility. I had to do it via the @BIOS utility, which meant booting up Windows first.

So I have Z87X-UD5H, and this improved overclocking doesn't seem to make any difference, I still have issues with reboots if I go past 4.5GHz.. which is exactly what happened on all the other firmwares prior to the new F9. So what has improved?

Same with the UD3H... But I do not have windows. Any suggestions?

here is a claim that if you use the FTP download link and not the other, the file from there works with qflash

Thanks for the suggestion, but that does not seem to be the case... F8 works well so I will probably stick to it.

Guys, it' s easy. I've updated my GA-Z87X-UD3H to F9 with a USB stick. I made the stick bootable under dos (Do you remember this ancient microsoft os) created a directory "bios" and put the unzipped stuff from the download link for F9 on the Gygabyte site. Then booted under dos, navigated to "bios" directory and executed autoexec.bat. It updated smoothly the bios in 5-6 minutes. That's it. I guess it's the same with the other motherboards.

See http://www.tonymacx86.com/bios-uefi/131047-how-update-your-gigabyte-motherboards-bios.html. We've put together a guide for updating the BIOS in OS X and two guides for Windows users using FreeDOS and Rufus.

I need an update here.

I am building a computer with a ga-z87x-ud3h motherboard as my base and I see on the Gigabyte website that the latest bios is the F10b (BETA). And yet, looking around on various forums, there are people who link to an F10 bios file (no BETA) with different file hashes. Can anyone give me a heads up?

Wondering if other bioses support the g3258 chip as well.

Hello,
Im a little confused to why GA-Z87X-HD3 isn't on here .. is there a reason why all UDH series are listed but not any of the HD series..

Thank you
