Hey Dyna, here's some infos you can find useful:
- from this screenshot disable Internal CPU PLL Overvoltage (it can jeopardize wake from sleep)
- post your components here (I mean everything, like: what bluetooth are you using? wifi card?) and also update your signature, so anybody can see what your hardware is (useful to avoid wasting time asking hardware specs!;))
- open terminal and copy/paste this line
Code:
cat /var/log/system.log | grep "AICPUPMI:"
to check p-states after running geekbench
- if you have correctly compiled dsdt, usb3 should be working... otherwise, extract clean dsdt, as explained in the guide (boot with DSDT=Null in chimera and extract with MaciASL) and post it here, I'll compile for you, no big deal using PJALM patches!
- dont't post screenshot of something like text stuff, 'cause it's kinda small, even with zoom feature (I'm getting old?!?), you can easily copy it and paste in your posts. As example, do it with your org.chameleon.Boot.plist, so I can check it out.
- which monitor are you using? How is it plugged in?

I did disable the CPU PLL Overvoltage in bios.
Seems like all the USB3 Ports works, atleast they did recognice my external USB3 hard-drive, i tried all the ports. :)
Airplay seemed to work also, to my apple tv, tried mirroring youtube, video OK and audio OK.

Here is the Terminal info after running geekbech, score again about 10k.

I have no idea about those numbers, turbo boost working ?

My components are:

GA-Z77N-WIFI Motherboard with the native WIFI card, but not in use. Connected via ethernet.

3570K CPU

2x8GB RAM http://www.kingston.com/datasheets/KHX16C10B1BK2_16.pdf

XFX 750W BlackEdition Full modular PSU

CPU Cooler Thermalright Macho http://www.thermalright.com/html/products/cpu_cooler/hr-02_macho_reva.html

Storage: Corsair Force 3 (Connected to SATA3) http://www.corsair.com/en/ssd/force...40gb-sata-3-6gbps-solid-state-hard-drive.html

Intel 335 180gb (Connected to SATA3) http://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/5315/intel-335-series-180gb-ssd-review/index.html

Kingston V300 120gb (Connected to SATA2) http://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/5254/kingston-ssdnow-v300-120gb-ssd-review/index.html

Belkin mini bluetooth adapter F8T016 (Connecting a Apple Wireless bluetooth keyboard)

Performance mouse MX
http://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/performance-mouse-mx (Connected by its own usb reciever)

Asus PA 248Q monitor (Connected via a single DVI-D dual link cable)

Do i still need to extract the clean dsdt ? Or can i start installing software etc. using the computer. Sure i would like it to be as optimized as possible :)

Those are the speed steps your cpu has used until now, in other words it's been using from 1600 MHz (16x100) to 3800 (38x100, max turbo frequency without overclock) and I can confirm you that Ivy Bridge CPU Power Management is working properly.
I'd also remove the wifi card. It's not supported in OSX, it's unuseful, and overall, since you are using belkin f8t016 bluetooth dongle, you don't need another bluetooth feature. I don't know if really the onboard BT would conflict with the Belkin one, but surely the more you keep things simple in your system, the less trouble you can find.
To fully check usb 3.0 ports, plug in a usb 2.0 device: it should be recognized as well.
Now, I'd say your system is working properly, also you can check sleep, and wake from sleep features. Post results!

Internal audio or hdmi? Does it behave in this way every time, or just when you do it after a long time while audio isn't used?

Thx for the reply!!

I'm referring to internal Speaker not hdmi audio and it's lagging only after a long time........Help and Thanks!!

How come when I choose MAc MINI 6,2 system definition the sound of the system has a little lag(aprox 1 sec) and when I choose Mac Pro 3,1 the sound it's perfect synchronized with the pressure of the Vol button?
normal. I see the same on my board.

mini6,2 does PM on soundcards. if that borders you, play a constant silent on your sound (i think there is a software called anti pop that does it)

Ok, my Zotac mini hack behaves the same way, and as a matter of fact it's my only hack using inernal speaker!

epoon2, that's really interesting! We can dig a bit to avoid this minor issue! I'll post as soon as I have some more infos!

Ok guys!!At least now I know I'm not the only one who is experiencing this issue!!I'll give a look to the software mentioned earlier and see what happens!

Thx again

Hi, I just wanted to say THANK YOU for this awesome guide. It was really fun take my system (Z77n-WiFi, GTX 670, i5-3570K) and set up a dual boot OS X and Windows 8.

Absolutely awesome, you guys are the best!

Hi nice to hear that the clock speeds seems OK ! :)

Ive been having some problems with my dsl-modem so took a while to answer.

USB-3 ports work also with usb 2 devices :)
Sleep seems to work also, waking up there from keyboard.

Couple questions still.
1.Bluetooth seems to cut-out here and there, my keyboard. And seems to be sometimes impossible to connect to it again, or even get Bluetooth = ON at top bar.

2.The SSDs, blackmagic speedtest shows kinda slow read/write speeds, and i cant try the system drive, it says it it READ only, when i change the permissions to "everyone" to Read/write of the disk it still gives 180 MB/s read and write, it should be my fastest drive, reaching 500 read and write, trim is enabled and plugged into SATA 3 Port.

3. The shutdown time and boot up is not that super fast what i have seen others having on youtube, with their similar hacks.
When booting up the Chimera screen with MNT Lion logo and small load bar going to 0% seems to be some smaller resolution, and also the Apple logo grey load screen after that 800x600 perhaps ? But then when desktop shows up its instantly the right resolution.

These are the quirks so far ive seen.

And BTW should i update via software updater to 10.8.4 ? i have 10.8.3 now it seems :)
How should i prepare if updating ?

Hi nice to hear that the clock speeds seems OK ! :)
I'm glad even sleep and wake are working! To answer to your questions:
1 - Unplug the onboard wifi card (it has bluetooth feature as well) and use just the Belkin dongle, and see if it works better.
2 - Honestly I'm not an SSD expert, perhaps somebody here can help you out in other section of the forum, or just google it up.
3 - To fix resolution of the Apple boot logo and chimera screen, open from /Extra folder chameleon.org.Boot.plist with text edit, and add manually these two lines
Code:
<key>Graphics Mode</key>
<string>1920x1200x32</string>
I guess this is your monitor resolution according to this
Of course save changes and reboot to check. Furthermore, if you want speed up (just a few seconds) the boot process, stay in org.chameleon.Boot.plist and change
Code:
<key>Timeout</key>
<string>2</string>
into
Code:
<key>Timeout</key>
<string>1</string>
or just replace these two lines with
Code:
<key>Quiet Boot</key>
<string>Yes</string>
in this last case, you won't see chimera screen anymore, unless you press F8 key between bios screen and Apple boot logo.
4 - To update to 10.8.4, a few days ago I've added in post #2 the UPDATE #4 that explains what to do. Be sure to make a full backup before, though, you'll never know!
