Motherboard
ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-F
CPU
i7-8700K
Graphics
UHD 630
I'm running:

Intel Z370 Chipset
ASUS Rog Strix Z370-F Mobo
Intel i7 8700k

I'm using the HDMI port out of the back of the mobo for graphics.

I get in to iBoot, and switch the to the Snow Leopard DVD, and it stalls on the Apple Logo.

I've tried:
PCIRootUID=1
PCIRootUID=0
-x
-v
GraphicsEnabler=No
-f
acpi-off

and all combinations of above, but with no luck.

Using iboot legacy, i get a panic
unable to find driver for this platform: \"ACPI\".n"

if i use acpi=off, i get a panic
"pmap_steal_memory"

if i use -x -v acpi=off, i get the same pmap panic.

any ideas?

Your hardware is too new to be supported in Snow Leopard.
fair enough. So I have a macbook pro running high sierra. It's not a candidate for Mojave. The apple store won't let me get any other version. I have an old install for El Capitan. Unibeast stalls half way through, and attempting to use the USB thumb stick with that causes the system to freeze before entering Clover. I also have a windows PC at my disposal but i don't know how to acquire a DMG of any MacOS. I was hoping my snow leopard DVD would let me install as a base and update from there, but obviously that isn't going to work. Any suggestions as to what I should be doing?

scratch that.... i formatted the usb drive in windows, then took it back to the macbook and attempted again from start to finish. Clover launched. When selecting "Boot Mac OS X from usb", My system just restarts back in to clover.
