Getting stuck at IOConsoleUsers: gIOScreenLockStatus 3, hs 0, bs 0, now 0, sm 0x0

im trying to install high sierra 10.13.6 onto my desktop but i keep getting stuck at the loading screen when trying to load the installer. i ran the verbose mode and its getting hung up at IOConsoleUsers: gIOScreenLockStatus 3, hs 0, bs 0, now 0, sm 0x0.

please help

Try taking out your 1060, then change BIOS settings to use integrated graphics. Boot from the USB and see if you get further along to reach the installer.

tried that, i just lose signal to the screen after about the same length into the load bar

You'll need to find an Asus Z390-A guide and follow that. Get all of the BIOS settings right. Add the kexts and drivers you'll need to the USB installer etc.
