Getting booted from iCloud, must change password

Several times in the past few days I was requested on both my iPhone 6 and my "Mac Pro 3,1" desktop running 10.9.5 to reenter my iCloud password and when I did I was told my account was disabled for "security reasons" and I must change my password. After doing so I can log in fine on both systems and everything works as it should, until the next time. iMessages is enabled and works fine on the computer if that matters.

I have not updated anything recently on either system and have never had issues before. Has anyone else been experiencing this lately? Could it be network issues? Is there a way to figure out what is causing my account to get flagged and disabled?
