Hey everyone,

I have a problem with my Asmedia 1042 USB 3.0 controller, that doesn't work in Yosemite. USB 3.0 only works if i insert the USB device before my laptop is even on. It has to be attached when my pc is booting up. Otherwise it gives this error: "32,000 kernel[0]: USBF: 3.168 GenericUSBXHCI::CreateRootHubDevice Bus 14 already taken"

Can someone please help me fix the problem, because in Mavericks USB 3.0 worked.

P.S. I posted here because there was no official support thread mentioned on GitHub (https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Generic-USB3), if this is the wrong category please move the post.

I tried your version of the GenericUSBXHCI Kext and it didn't work. Does anyone else have a solution? Because multiple people have the same problem?
