Geforce GTX 570

A few days before I had ASUS GeForce GTX480... All was nice, intstead of noise... So, I bought MSI GeForce GTX570 OC Edition. Yeah, it is really quiet and have amazing performance for cheap price!!! But... Now I have black screen, I know... lol. So, I am waiting support for 5xx series too

Why would those with a GTX 460 have no problems? These are all fermi's....

Mine too is an Fermi card and i've also zero problems. I think the fact for this behavior is, mine is from PNY (it's a Bulk card i guess), and these manufacturer (and some other's too) assembling GF108 into their cards instead of a GF110

The same, signal goes off on my GTX 570 with these new kexts.

Maybe there is no any 5XX support, driver version is rather old - 256 series, on Windows 5XX support was started from 260 line.

If you guys would dig around the forum a little bit, you would notice that there are currently NO working drivers for the GTX 5xx series cards. Sit tight, and wait for Lion.
* Supposedly it will have native support for Fermi cards (GT 4xx, GTS 4xx, GTX 5xx series).

Patience is a virtue. I'm waiting for Lion and am very hopeful that the 570 will be natively supported. I believe!

Hi ,people i have same problem with GTx 570. I try multiple solutions and bad luck for me.But a try another method and working 100% 1920x1080 32 bit color

Install http://www.tonymacx86.com/1010110101/tonymacx86-NVIDIA-Update-2.0.0.zip after install reboot SL.

After bootloader maybe you monitor black screen. Dont worry reboot and booting in safe mode -X and find geforce.kext in /System/Library/Extensions folder and delete geforce.kext later reboot again. After Geforce GTX 570 working all resolutions support.
