Hello everyone!

This is my first post, so I hope this is in the right place. I bought an MSI GeForce GTX 1080 for my new (hopefully) Hackintosh build, and I had a question about Final Cut Pro X and Logic Pro X compatibility with my graphics card. From what I've read on the forum so far, AMD GPUs are vastly superior to NVIDIA GPUs when it comes to productivity applications such as music and video editing. However, I've also only seen these topics talk about how export speed is affected, not general usage of the app. Maybe this is a dumb question, but will FCPX and LPX still run smoothly with an NVIDIA GPU? Will there be any noticeable lag while using the applications? I don't really care about export speed, since if I REALLY need to export a large video (which I doubt will happen) I can just do it overnight if the export speed is absolutely horrendous (which I doubt it will be, just exaggerating). I'm an amateur at FCPX and LPX, so I won't be doing anything really intensive with either application, I'm just curious what the day-to-day general usage will be like on an NVIDIA GPU.
