Browsing through Geekbench benchmark results, I just found these for the brand new Ivy Bridge Mac mini 6,1 and Mac mini 6,2.

Notice a few things about these- they are both running a special build just for these machines.

Macmini6,1 is running Mac OS X 10.8.2 Build 12B2100

Macmini6,2 is running Mac OS X 10.8.1 Build 12B2080

Both Geekbench results were taken today- October 24th 2012. Remember, the Mac mini is a mobile CPU, not a desktop CPU. Apple has decided to gloss this over when referring to their Ivy Bridge CPUs this time around.

Glad to know my recent build is still blowing off-the-shelf builds out of the water! :)

Wow the quad core really helps vs the Dual. Didn't expect that much of a difference given the initial speed values.

The dual core score is decent for a dual core mobile CPU, but nothing I would bring home. And while the quad core score is more reasonable, the loss of the dedicated GPU was unfortunate.
