Has anyone had any luck with getting dolby 5.1 on the SPDIF or HDMI output with the onboard ALC898 audio codec and/or using the HDMI output of the NVIDIA GTX670 Graphics card? All I am getting is stereo on the SPDIF output.


There is no selection for HDMI audio using the sound output settings for either the built in HDMI or GTX670.
As for the SPDIF output, the apple audio/midi setup only shows stereo on the built in output.

I've tried Toledo's patch's but with no success.

Yes: DD 5.1, DTS 5.1, HDMI integrated and discrete, SPDIF, 898, 1150, etc.
