Hello!

First off, my build:
GA-Z87M-D3H
Intel i5-4690K
EVGA GeForce GTX 760

This is my first pc build ever, so far, it's not bad, learning a lot as I go. I have a few questions at the end of this thread, and the details basically explain what I've faced so far in getting my build to work. I've looked everywhere on tonymacx86 to find a working solution for my questions but couldn't find answers. :|:(

Try disabling on board video in BIOS. I have the same board and had to do that to eliminate Kernel Panics, screen flicker and the need to enter -x. In other words, it allowed an uninterrupted installation and perfect operation.

I also suggest that you remove the Universal USB 3 kext. (Delete GenericUSBXHCI.kext in S/L/E) In Yosemite there is no need for it and may cause freezes when you connect a USB to a USB 3 receptacle.

I've got HD4600 working on this motherboard but i used clover also i did a bios upgrade to the latest bios update and it sorted it
