Hi.
I've have a GA-Z87-D3HP - i5-4670k - GTX760 - Mavericks that was freezing all the time because of the network collapse. After a fresh install and the use of an older IntelE1000 kext on the /Extra/Extension, appears that the network collapse is not happening. But now, i still have some freeze on my installation if i leave the machine on idle for a long period. And i've notice that my processo usually stay at 3.8GHz speed and the machine is not sleeping. I was looking on my installation log and found the error messages bellow.

Thanks in advance,
Zanonale

i have also system freezes with my ga-z87n-wifi.
my suspicion was, that the intel driver are buggy. but now i have only the atheros drivers and its the same... no solution so far.
do you think a usb to ethernet adapter will solve this?

I've got freezes on my GA-Z87N-WIFI as well ( about once a week).

Have you tried some of the suggested actions on the other threads?

* Increase RAM voltage by .1 (e.g. 1.5->1.6)
* Use 2 sticks of RAM
* Change system definition to iMac(14,2)
* Run 8 or 9 passes of memtest

I've been wondering if a bios upgrade was worth trying myself.

Have you tried using the popular FreezeFix app, it's done the trick on many hackintoshes...

I was under the impression that only applies to fixing Fermi Freezes specifically which only pertain to Nvidia Video cards in a specific series. According to the OP's profile, his video card is not one affected by the Fermi Freeze.

Am I correct?
