I don't know wich one choosing ?

TB = ThunderBolt - UP5 TH has Thunderbolt

I still don't have any mother board.
I know that TB mean Thunderbolt.
I just don't know if it's better choosing an UP5 or a UD5.

I think I will choose an UP5 because it's look like easier to configure, as I can't found any good PCIe FW800.

For me getting an Apple TB->FW800 adapter was an easy choice. Finding a compatible PCIe FW800 card not so easy. I'm sure they're out there, but finding one and getting it shipped to my location for less money was not going to be straightforward. I just went to an Apple Store, picked up an adapter, scanned it on my phone, and walked out of the store having paid for it electronically.

Performance-wise we're only talking about 80 MB/s so either solution should have no trouble satisfying that.

It does tie up one of the Thunderbolt ports (it has no daisy-chain port so must be at the end of the bus) but in my current config that's fine.
