I've tried two different Thunderbolt cables (Apple & LaCie) and neither fit in the tbolt ports on this mobo. Do they require a special cable or, do I have defective board?

I've noticed on my TH "plugs" on the motherboard, that there is an "up" and "down" way to insert the cable. I don't know if this is Gigabyte's doing or part of the Intel standard, but try looking at the motherboard's Thunderbolt plugs straight on while inserting the cable. Frustrating, I know.
