Hi, ok after much hassle i have a working booting install on my GA-Z77X-UP5-TH, with i7 3770 3.4 using onboard HD4000 graphics. (sig says RX560, will add that after get HD4000 working)

System boots nice and fast, but system reports graphics as being Intel HD 2000 8 mb?

I have correct bios settings for HD4000

64mb memory
Initial = IGFX

In config.plist i have

InjectIntel
IntelGFX=0x12345678
ig-platform-id = empty

If i remove entry from IntelGFX= the system takes ages to boot and does not complete load.

I have tried a few options for ig-platform-id that are shown in clover, plus 0x01620007 which is not, but was recommended. Makes no difference.

kext>other
FakeSMC.kext
AppleIntelE1000e.kext
AtherosE2200Ethernet.kext
IntelMausiEthernet.kext

Any ideas?

wonder if worth trying IntelGraphicsFixup.kext ?

Current config.plist that i use to boot attached.

thanks

Lol, very embarrassing, seems my cpu is actually a
Intel Core i7-2600 Quad Core 3.40GHz 8MB

so looks like all is correct :)

Off to find a Intel Core i7-3770K - 3.5GHz

If you can find a i7-3770K or Ivy Bridge CPU with builtin HD4000

InjectIntel
IntelGFX=0x12345678 // don't inject something like this, leave it blank 0x00000000, HD4000 is natively supported
ig-platform-id = empty // iGPU only confguration, use 0x01620005 or 0x0162000A, with dGPU+iGPU configuration, you can use 0x01620007

Ok, got my i7 3770k installed, made edits to config.plist

InjectIntel
IntelGFX= (empty)
ig-platform-id = 0x01620007

Boots with Intel HD4000 fine, all working good.

With RX 560 booting with -v all goes well till i would expect the apple logo and load bar to appear then log on screen, but screen just goes black!

Odd that it boot ok with i7-2600 ?

Will check in over on RX 560 thread.
