[SUB]Hi

I've trouble with the post configuration of Yosemite.
The configuration is in my signature.
I'm new to clover so I don't know how to debug.

I've try a clean install of Yosemite with unibeast & multibeast. Everything works (audio & ethernet) but not Message.
I've made a clean install of Maverick with clover following the guide of [/SUB]ultra zone ( http://www.tonymacx86.com/mavericks...ide-z77x-ud5h-mavericks-clover-uefi-mode.html )
All was working (audio thanks to Toleda script & ethernet).
I followed Jaymonkey guide to fix Message ( http://www.tonymacx86.com/general-help/110471-how-fix-imessage.html ) and it works.
So I decide to upgrade to yosemite.
But I fail to adapt ultrazone guide to Yosemite or to follow Tonymac guide ( http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-desktop-guides/144426-how-install-os-x-yosemite-using-clover.html ) : Clover launched on my usb stick, but OS installer failed to load.

Finally I followed BilltheGeths & Healio advice on this guide http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-...a-z77x-ud5h-gtx670-multibeast-settings-4.html
Thanks to BilltheGeths files I was able to install Yosemite and to install clover on the yosemite drive.

But I've not followed the end of this guide because they install the kext into S/L/E instead of EFI/Clover/kext/10.10 (seems less clean).

Currently the ethernet and audio are not working (I've tried Toleda script, the script succeed but the driver seems to be not charged).

I'v try a lot of config.list but nothing work.
It seems that kext are never charged by clover.

Any Idea ?

Regards,

I will answer to some points :
I've another disk used to clone the working disk.
Last time I did it, I also duplicated the EFI on this disk.
Sadly in my BIOS, the Clone disk was configured to boot before the target yosemite disk.

So now Clover load the kext.
I've fixed the ethernet issue. Message still working.

After a few more test : 2 stranges things
* I fail to make Audio work with toleda script : Script execute, everything seems ok, but after reboot, I still dont have sound
* My GTX 660 do not want to boot. I have to boot with HD4000 (was working in Maverick)

Any help would be appreciated.

Just a note, I've seen all the guides say to add the KEXT into the folder 10.9, you mentioned 10.10... Might that be the problem?

I'm actually doing the same - we have the same motherboard. I've been using just the simple config.plist - I know I'll need a new one at some time. But if I get everything to work, maybe not... Right now, audio is not working and I'm trying to get iMessage to work, which is a must have feature (LOL)...

Let me know how it goes...

My bad, after more research 10.10 is the one for Yosemite... Now I've got to go and edit some more... I'm trying to have Mavericks working with Clover first, everything working: audio, ethernet, iMessage, etc... Then on to Yosemite...

I've not been able to make a clean install of Yosemite directly with a USB stick although everything is working in Maverick.
:banghead:
So I've decided to make a clean install of Maverick and then to upgrade from Maverick to Yosemite, like I have a real Mac.
And it works.
I've created the 10.10 directory for clover kext. Patch gain Apple HDA with Toleda Script.
And everything seems ok (ethernet, audio, Message).

But my system seems less stable than before (sometimes whenI want to start, it fails a first times before launching Yosemite).
I think I need to customize my settings and make some tests.

2 thougths :
With UEFI, I'm not sure which drive is used for boot. I think part of my issue are due to using the wrong Clover (I have several configuration of clover : USB and 2 hard drive)
A multibeast option to install kext to clover might be helpful :)

My audio doesn't work... Have tried so many configurations and Toleda's script and nothing... I even re-installed clean to have the AppleHDA patched and nothing... I got it to the point that it was asking me where the realtek kext was and I couldn't figure out what I needed to do...

Could you explain to me what you've done for the audio?

For your hard drives, what I've done is unplug all the drives I don't need for a while and work from only one hard drive...

Regards,
can you link this script you used to get your sound working?

Hey guys you can use CloverALC for audio located here.. https://github.com/t...audio_CloverALC

1. Download the zip

2. Extract zip

3. Make sure you have the ORIGINAL AppleHDA.kext

4. Mount EFI folder

5. Extract audio_cloverALC-100.command.zip

6. Double click audio_cloverALC-100-v1.0.2.command

7. Enter password in terminal and follow instructions

8. Reboot when done

All sound should work including microphone
