Built my first hackintosh, so far it has been great except for 2 minor gripes

1a) Manual CMD+ALT+eject sleep seems to shut the machine down, on resuming the display does not get initialized.

1b) If I leave the system idle it turns of the monitor and later 'shuts' the computer down , on resumption displays stay black.

2)Graphics seems to be a bit choppy on startup and when dragging the screen around.

Bios settings
AHCI is enabled, xHCI and eHCI are also. Virtualization is disabled, Init display first is set to PEG.

Any suggestions to get this fixed would be very much appreciated.

Mountain Lion 10.8.2

Nvidia Geforce 9500GT dual head graphics card with 1GB of Ram (Had this with me)

Antec Kuhler 620 liquid cooling.

Looks like I have the perfect hackintosh now !

I yanked out the nvidia card, and did a clean install. Installed 10.8.2 updates, ran multi beast. Voila I have a dual monitor mac available that works perfectly. Sleeps, wakes.

Tested few HD videos on youtube with safari to check if things work. Stuff looks rock solid.

I'd recommend this build to anyone who wants a perfect mac/hack.

So the NVidia card was to blame?
I have a similar setup with Z77N and gtx 660 card and seeing the same issue with blank screen on wake.
For me ripping out the GFX card is not an option :(

So this is what I did to get sleep & wake up working.

Got a new EVGA GTX650 card.

Installed ML 10.8 for scratch
Applied 10.8.2 cumulative updates.
Ran mulitbeast
Options selected were : RTL-892 , Trim 10.8.1 , SSDT for Core i7, System profile set to Mac Pro 3,1

Shutdown
Plugged in the new GTX-650
Reset bios to failsafe options
Disabled onboard graphics & sleep under power management
Booted with flags GraphicsEnabler=no npci=0x3000

Now, I have a desktop that just works out of the box !

Note: There is a 5/10 second lag before the targus bluetooth dongle comes to life, but I can live with it.
