GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 macOS Sierra kernel panic

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to check in and see if anyone has a suggestion or has experienced the below kernel panic within macOS Sierra. Sadly, my build is a bit older, so I understand if no one can give much input. The guide I followed is here and it's working great for the most part, but the below kernel panic happens sporadically with no rhyme or reason and typically can run for a few days before the system simply freezes up and requires a reboot then gives the kernel panic report at the next startup.

Thank you in advance and I've done some searching and saw some similar posts but didn't come across any with this older build for it to apply. The build was previously running on Mavericks with no issues. Take care!

Add -no-zp to your Boot args.

Thank you for the suggestion! I'll give this a whirl in the next day or two and report back after it's had a few days to run and test it out.

Finally got a chance to add the boot arg to the machine and it seemed to be okay but after a couple of days it began doing the same thing again. It just randomly reboots without any forewarning.

Also, for what it's worth, oddly enough the optical drive tends to exhibit receiving some kind of power or something of that nature right before it happens....probably coincidental, but does seem to happen every time. Thoughts on just pulling the optical drive and testing?
