Yes, without Lilu and Fixup there is no graphics accelleration at all. Might try pulling them from my second install and see if I can get at least get to the display port that way but it was behaving exactly the same.

The thing that's so frustrating is that the display port worked fine, for a week, and then gave up seemingly at random, at least a couple days after fiddling around trying to get two displays to work. And that worked (with hot swap) for a couple days too then poof... black screen boot one day and seemingly nothing to fix it and no clue why it's happening.

I'm considering this build, and I have a NVIDIA 980ti card. Knowing that lots of people have run into issues using the standard Intel HD 630 chipset, is anybody having issues using NVIDIA with this build??

I have the z270x-ud5 + 7700k + 64gb ddr4 + nvidia 1080ti and everything is working fine. I have both of the ethernet ports working, sleep and awake works and both hd 630 and 1080 ti works at the same time (3 monitors connected to the 1080ti). Since I have the two graphic cards working together, I have no issues with ibooks. I overclocked my processor to 4.8ghz with no issues as well and I really happy with this hackintosh.

I have the Nvidia 1080 Ti as well and I can report that my dual monitor setup works well with this card in an eGPU configuration.

Most current graphics cards will drive multiple screens. I tested my Gene's GTX 960 after I bought it. It drives 4 screens easily.

However, the driving requirement will be your applications for a graphics card, not whether it can drive multiple monitors.

Great to hear! Unfortunately, this person hasn't shared any details as to how it was done and appears the first person to indicate sleep works reliably with integrated graphics.

Sleep only works if you have a nvidia graphics card installed. Here are some pics of my clover configurator and clover kext folder (I also have a appleIGB.kext install in Library/extensions folder). I use Smbios as a 18.3 Imac and have both igpu and nvidia turn on in Bios and booting via igpu (you need this in order to make iBooks to work correctly). All of my monitors are connected to the nvidia graphic card to avoid the use of the intel 630 to the computing intensive tasks on my hack.

Pleased to say that so far, through a couple reboots and a sleep wake cycle, I currently have dual monitors working on the Gigabyte 1050ti Windforce card that came in the mail today, so long as I use the hdmi port furthest from the display port. The internal graphics will work alongside (1 monitor each) but only via the HDMI port.
