Tried. The same again.
Could you specify the situation before entering a black screen? I don’t understand what the ‘first part’ is.

X58A/ICH10 boards are not supported by Apple in Mojave. To get past this, install Mojave with patch in nvram.plist
or use it as a boot-arg in Clover
<dict>
<key>boot-args</key>
<string>-no_compat_check</string>
</dict>
</plist>

@texviler
I am using Clover to boot my Mojave install on the X58A-UD7, but in the OC config.plist you need to change the NVRAM section boot-args to have only -v (if you want verbose boot) and -no_compat_check.
I also have a fully modified DSDT so I do not need any of the patches to the ACPI section.
Attached is a copy of my EFI partition. Note the boot file and the nvram.plist go in the root EFI and the Clover config.plist is in the EFI/Clover folder.
If using the RX580 with the Mojave build, the SSDTs in the ACPI/Patched folder will be handy to have.

Replace my DSDT in ACPI/Patched with yours or delete mine.
Compare the board specs and change kexts as required.
I have not tried using OC on a Legacy system but there is a procedure on the Dortania site for booting with OC on legacy systems.

After few weeks of struggle ‍♂️
Every time during a install on the end it had to reboot but instead it went black screen. Than if i forced reboot there was no option boot os from ssd on OC picker
So what my frinend took ssd out and put it in mac pro and copied EFI folder again cause somehow everytime on install it would somehow messed up something in EFI folder
Same happen when i installed these last mojave updates, when it rebooted it wouldnt start.
So again, copied the same EFI over it and than it would start.

No i wanna know can i restore mojave from time machine backup from my mac pro 5.1 with mojave? And what is the best method? How can i enter in recovery mode to backup from timemachine?
EDIT: i did it with migration assistant.

Hi folks.
I have 12 gb of ram (6x2 sticks)
My ram is 1333 mhz and in mac specs it shows only 400 khz. What is the deal with that?
In my bios it shows 1333, and on windows too.
Anybody had similar experience? Thanx.

What is your system definition (Mac Pro, iMac, etc.)?
