This is my first Hackintosh build. I'm going for a dual boot macOS Sierre and Windows 10.

Build and Installation
The build was pretty straight forward in the extremely open Define S case from Fractal Design. I then went ahead and created a Windows 10 USB for UEFI using Rufus.
I followed this guide for the Dual Boot part: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-multibooting-uefi-on-separate-drives.198869/
So the steps for Windows 10 installation were as follows:
  1. Create installation USB for UEFI using Rufus on Windows PC
  2. Create macOS install USB using UniBeast
  3. Unplug the macOS drive (the SSD in my case)
  4. Plug your macOS USB in and boot to this USB
  5. Wait for the installation screen and go to Utilities > Disk Utility and format the Windows drive to OS X extended Journaled and select GUID and quit the macOS installer
  6. Insert the Windows 10 usb and boot to this as a UEFI USB.
  7. Walk through the installer. Select custom install and delete the OS X partition you just created.
  8. Select the free space and install Windows to this.
  9. Install all drivers when installation finishes and then disconnect the Windows drive. I also used Windows disk manager to shrink the Windows partition to allow for some space for data storage for my macOS install.
For the macOS installation I used this guide: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...ierra-on-any-supported-intel-based-pc.200564/
The installation of macOS Sierra is currently in progress. I'll keep you posted about how it all goes!

What works
  • Windows 10
  • The rest is still in progress

What doesn't work
  • Nothing yet, still work in progress.

Friend, please. I need guidance.
I have the same CPU as you, however I get the error: unknown CPU model.
How is your installation going?
Did you have this error?

Cheers.

any good news about your config and sierra macos? thanks

@XanderW, Hello, did you make it with sierra ? I have the same hack coming soon ?! :)
