G5 Fans

Very good! If you have B9-Redux (you can also use B8-Redux = the same size of stator, only difference in rpm of fan models) you can easily mod your g5-fan with it:
1) Pull out the fan blades [no need to drill]
2) Use a gas wrench or large pliers to pull out the stator. But do not forget to carefully wrap the stator with some soft material so that the pliers do not damage the stator. The stator is glued on, so it must be pulled out by slowly twisting it to the left and right. Do not forget to wrap the stator with soft material, otherwise you will damage (!)
PS: And if you are not going to re-solder the wires to the desired size, have care for the wires when you pull (!)
Wow, you really delivered on the tutorial! This actually sounds so much easier and more straight forward than I had expected from similar attempts. I'm going to give this a try ASAP, thank you so much! Also definitely interesting that the B8 has the same stator, guess I didn't need to buy a separate one for the PCIe fan after all..

You’re welcome! I did tested also a combination of G5 original stator + Arctic F9 fan pcb. Still not tested rpms etc. but it works))) On foto 3 u can see Arctic F9 pcb + orig G5 stator, complete orig. G5 stator, Arctic F9 stator and Noctua B9 stator.

Well I'm resurrecting an old thread here but I just want some clarification. NF-B8 / NF-B9 stator will work with the thicker front fan blades?
