G5 case mod!

i just purchased a g5 case not sure what model year it is. Case is dinged up im in the process of fixing it up. I looked up g5 hackintoshes and everyone install their motherboards upside down for the i/o to fit. I was thinking... when i paint the case and reassemble it, put the opening panel on the other side so that the the motherboard can go in upright? Good for airflow? Anyone have any sufgestions on this. Im taking my time with this i will keep yall posted as my wife and i are in the process of moving into our new house!

The orientation shouldn't have any impact on airflow, its still the same components taking up the same space.
