Introducing my G4 MDD Case Mod. Which I call the G4 Shadow.

I started with...

Which I gutted....

Added some newer components. Nothing crazy just newer.
ASUS Tex P8H61-MX
Intel i5 3570k (3.4ghz 4 core)
16GB Ram

And started hackintoshing.

Congrats on a job well done. I think even Jony Ive himself would like the way you've updated the look yet retained the original G4 look.

Have you installed High Sierra on this system so you could use the GTX 960 ?

So you need to be using HD4000 graphics. When it says Graphics Display 8MB it means you don't have graphics acceleration. You can remove the GTX 960 and use the HD4000 on your CPU. Then graphics performance will be much better. Should say 1536 MB when using HD4000. Use the onboard DVI-D output to get working graphics. VGA is not supported. You could also upgrade to an RX 570 if you want better graphics.

When I use the mobo graphics the machine stutters and I get glitches when watch youtube etc. Also bootup takes 2mins compared to 40secs on the 960.

So I reverted back to the 960 as runs smoother even though no recognised and viewing as 8mb?

Any thoughts?

Updated graphics card to a gt 710 and all working great now.

Hi @mbassett , good job, i am doing the same, maybe with another colors but i have a problem trying to remove the apple logo from the two sides of the case, i dont want to break it so i am a little afraid to use a screwdriver or something to create presure, is it possible to tell me how to remove it? please, thanks in advance,

<UPDATE> hi, i finally get to remove pressing with a screwdriver from behind through the small hole that it has. </UPDATE>
