I love the cube! I am so glad to see one live again. You really put a lot of work into your build. Now let's tackle the lampshade iMac G4! Someone's got to do it.

Great project! Amazing that you managed to fit all that into the old Cube! :)

What are those electronics that you have added?

What is connected to the PCI-E 16x slot?

Please provide comments to the uploaded pictures.

Hi,
i took the picture before changing my mind so nothing is connected to pci-e port.

Picture 1: 400w BOARD hold by the fan sizes and by the middle metal piece with some stuffs that we use a lot in FRANCE :)

picture 4: apple bluetooth board with a step down regulator 5v to 3.3v with two capacitors and connected to an usb header

picture 5 : apple ir board connected to an usb header

picture 10: normaly, there is only 2 antenna on the back panel of this motherboard so i drill another hole and added another antenna for bluetooth

picture 11: the atx connector blocked the touch on/off switch system so i had to desolder and solder an "home made extender" (you can see it in the picture 18)

picture 12: the touch on/off switch ,1 pair for power switch motherboard, 1 pair for power led on the motherboard, some of the switch board components blocked so i desolder them and make an home made extender for each ones, and finally one cable is for the standbye power that is connected directly on the atx connector of the PSU, i made a male female connection to disconnect it if needed (little red cable on picture 14)

picture 13:an laptop ide to sata port adapter where i solded directly a sata cable and made an extender for the power cable

picture 15: back face of the power board, i added anti-static stuff, the dvd burner is just place here

This is great to see! I love the Cube and a nice Hackintosh Cube is gorgeous!

Am I correct that it looks like you managed to fit the guts of the ATX power supply into the Cube's chassis internally? That's seriously impressive! How are your temps with that setup?
