Cool color. I understand you were using a spray with a granite like paint - is the paint layer over the acrylic resistant to touch / scraches?
I will also be painting the front, the top and the rear acrylic panels of my G4, but I will most probably paint on the internal side of the acrylic - I will just take out the current silver painting and paint in black. I believe that way I will keep the translucident effect of the external side of the acrylic and the painting will be also protected.

No, it looks epic. I'll have to try this when I lose interest in my current hack case. I have a QS2001 and a Sawtooth. Parting out the QS2001 and the 13 years old Sawtooth is still in service. Bought her new for 2700$ in 1999.
