G-sync and CS Go & Battlegrounds?

Anyone that can share their experience with CS Go and using G-sync? I have a system with a Nvidia 980 and are looking at getting an AOC 24" AG241QG
or similar display for playing CS GO and Shadow of Mordor mostly.

Does this work out in your experience?

I play CSGO and with the right settings it’s pretty good. My system is lower powered than what you’re describing, too.

As far as the right settings, apparently even the pros on professional-grade windows machines set video to low quality. And I have to minimize or close other applications (that would be using the network while I’m gaming) to get a really good experience.
