This is really not a hackintosh problem, but one step before. I've built my system, and I can't get any video, nor does my MB emit any beeps when I power on.

I know I am getting power to the system, as all the fans and drives spin, and I believe I am getting power to the CPU, as the LEDs on the MB light up. I suppose it's possible that I have a bad MB, but I'd like to be sure of that before I RMA it.

I really want to get to the next step, especially since my Snow Leopard DVD came from Amazon today. I know this is not mostly about building systems, but since most of you have done that, I'd appreciate any advice.

TIA

check your sticks of ram one by one to be safe testing each stick in each slot to make sure its not a slot issue, and also try setting the bios/cmos jumper to reset then put it back to normal position and try booting. if that fails check that you'v connected any additional power leads i.e 4pin p4 connector, 6/8 pin graphics card power leads.....
