This was very comprehensive. I've got a i7 5559 that I've recently updated to Big Sur and of course stuff stopped working.

Question for you, I really want to get they key mapping correct like you have in your guide. I want to edit the SSDT-KBD to work for my keyboard. How do I figure out the values for my keyboard to use to enter into your SSDT?

I followed the logic on a Rehabman's post (under Brightness Keys) and used the mapping values on the VoodooPS2 repo. Here are the links to the post and the PS2 to ADB map:
