hallo,

i've got T902 and trying to make work Mavericks (10.9.0-10.9.1) - everything (of course not wifi and touchscreen) important is working except graphics (HD 4000) - tried all methods - graphicsenabler, boot strings, modified kexts... resulting in hanging on log screen or black screen. only possible to reach os screen is booting in safe mode.

can anyone confirm if HW acceleration with this notebook is possible in 10.9 and eventually how to get it to work? :D

thank you!

Then update your signature with the information. Details need to be visible in every post.

wow, thanx!
give me some time to learn how to make it work, and i report you :D

To enable your HD4000, you need DSDT patches. See: https://github.com/RehabMan/Laptop-DSDT-Patch

Apply:
"HD4000 High Resolution"
"Brightness Fix"
optional: "Rename GFX0 to IGPU"

followed your guide from https://github.com/RehabMan/HP-ProBook-4x30s-DSDT-Patch/wiki/How-to-patch-your-DSDT - saved DSDT under windows using RW-Everything, then patched with all 3 patches above using MaciASL. saved aml used to boot with latest Chameleon ... and ... SUCCESS !!! working arguments: GraphicsEnabler=No IntelCapriFB=4

Thank You very much, respect Your knowledge and willingness to help!

You don't need IntelCapriFB=4. With GraphicsEnabler=No, it does nothing. DSDT patches are doing what IntelCapriFB=4 would be doing...
