I have a Fujitsu LifeBook. I am using the latest Iboot. I boot in safe mode using -x, The laptop has an Intel 4 Series Express. The install hangs with 4 UHCI Controller message just after it says "Intel VGA Controller"

I am guessing the boot stops because of the video? If so is there anyway to get it to work?

Thanks for any help!

Ah, the Mobile Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 4500, here's what I found:

1- There is no 4500 driver and there never will be. Apple has moved away from intel graphic chips, and is not likely someone will code a driver from scratch
2- The fix suggested by birdracer isnt a driver. Off course you cannot do gaming, but also you cannot use DVDPlayer.app and a lot of other apps that need QE/CI enabled. They just wont work. So in a way is kind of useless to have OSX on such a machine.

Yeah, but that's only for screen resolution, you still will never be able to do anything worthwhile- it will be pointless. If you want to try it, just type this at the Chameleon screen just after swapping for the Mac OS X Retail DVD:

"Graphics Mode"="1280x720x32"

With quotes and everything- just as written here. Good luck!
