Ik got here a Fujitsu Esprimo Q956 with:
  • Intel® Core i5 6500T
  • Intel® HD Graphics 530
  • Intel® Q170 Express
  • 8GB DDR4SD
  • 160 GB SSD
  • Realtek Audio ALC671
  • Intel Ethernet I219LM

Wil OSX run on that?

I've tried to install Mojave (with clover this way), yet it freezes every time after I select "Install" in clover. The Apple logo shows with the bar, yet the bar aint start filling.
Booting with -v verbose, it freesez at random places, so I dont know where to search for troubleshooting.

Have any one got tips for me? Or even a solution (recognizing my problem)?

  • To answer your questions/help you, we have to see what you see on your Monitor screen
    • or you have to wait for someone with the Exact Brand Name computer who has successfully installed macOS Mojave to help you.
  • Please add your Hardware details to Your profile so that they can be seen in all your threads for others to help you .
  • ALWAYS boot in verbose mode until you get a fully working System; Apple logo and percentage filling of progress bar means nothing as it covers up any clues the text based screen could provide to help with troubleshoot.
    • Take photos and upload images with your post to get help
  • Since booting depends up on the chosen BIOS options and CLOVER inside the booting Disk, provide them to the Forum
  • To upload CLOVER as a zipped file take a look at the bulleted steps here->#4

Ok I’ll do that tomorrow morning. I changed the thread as it isn’t a q556 but a q956 and no Realtek but an Intel NIC.

All the hardware details I’ll add tomorrow. I used the dmidecode from Linux to read out all hardware.

BIOS settings and The freeze moments (hold on, need to resize the photos)
  • Uploaded Verbose Boot is suggestive of "impending USB port failure aka "Prohibited Entry Sign Error" or "still waiting for root device".
    • If screen shot is taken a little while later, I expect the screen to show garbled text and Prohibited Entry sign or "Circle with diagonal line across"
  • Where is CLOVER from the USB Installer as a Zipped file?
    • This is needed to find any problem in its "Other" folder and config.plist_Devices_USB SECTION to correlate with Verbose Boot problem
  • Is your macOS Mojave USB Installer created as UEFI or Legacy?
    • Your BIOS options have a 'mixed' UEFI-Legacy type choice of options that won't work for either
    • Your BIOS Options are not set up properly for IGFX : Intel HD 530

Thanx! I'll try tonight again with your advice
Without checking your CLOVER, I cannot give you proper recommendation for the next best step to fix your problem in this Hardware where I have not seen any successful build reported. Your previous link ended abruptly with no successful conclusion by the OP at:https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/fujitsu-esprimo-q956-osx-install-will-it-work.259126/

Your BIOS options for IGFX must be as shown in the edited image with this post.

Ok, I've changed the suggested BIOS settings including the BIOS options for IGFX. I also enabled USB Ownership and USB Injection (not selected on photo, but I did selected those two).

All settings in Clover is default, untouched. Only added the -v option and selected the two usb options.
Now it goes a little further... till apfs_module_start
