I updated from mavericks to Yosemite. Ran multibeast and after restarting I selected to boot from my HD. Apple icon with load bar.

About 1/3 complete apple icon is now shows a circle with across and no progress bar.

On Z87x UD5H

1 Stick of ram.

Multibeast 7 - frozen on restart Apple load page

this is the fourth install attempt for me. Each time I have installed then booted using the yosemite usb drive, installed using multibeast then upon the boot attempt (switched to that drive as boot drive) I just get an apple logo with a forever empty progress bar. I've tried unplugging everything but the bare essentials but same outcome. Here's the build I am about to try.

Quick Start > UserDSDT - /Users/BrainOSX/Desktop/DSDT-GA-Z68X-UD3P-B3- F8.aml
Drivers > Audio > Realtek ALCxxx > ALC889
Drivers > Disk > 3rd Party SATA
Drivers > Disk > TRIM Enabler > 10.10.0 TRIM Patch
Drivers > Misc > FakeSMC v6.11.1328
Drivers > Misc > FakeSMC v6.11.1328 Plugins
Drivers > Misc > FakeSMC v6.11.1328 HWMonitor Application
Drivers > Misc > USB 3.0 - Universal
Drivers > Network > Realtek > AppleRTL8169Ethernet 2.0.6
Bootloaders > Chimera v4.0.0
Customize > Boot Options > 1080p Display Mode
Customize > Boot Options > Basic Boot Options
Customize > Boot Options > Generate CPU States
Customize > Boot Options > Hibernate Mode - Desktop
Customize > Boot Options > Kext Dev Mode
Customize > Boot Options > Use KernelCache
Customize > System Definitions > Mac Pro > Mac Pro 3,1
Customize > SSDT Options > Sandy Bridge Core i7
Customize > Themes > tonymacx86 White

No luck.... Still empty progress bar.
with verbose boot it gets stuck on cpupowermanagement

Did you reset bios to defaults? Are you running 1 stick of ram?

So you can boot Yosemite but after restart from multibeast it freezes?

Also try different multibeast configs. See if one of the options is causing the problem.

Did you resolve this? I'm getting same issue, I even boot from USB to fresh build with just the basic boot options selected from multibeast and it sticks on loading as you described....

Having exact same problem, 5th install attempt

UseKernelCache=no helped me with this problem. Worth a try.

I'll try it out, but won't that mean I'll have to load the kexts at every boot?
