Hey Guys,

@first: thanks a lot for all your awesome work!

I installed 10.8.2 on my 4530s. Did not update anything or whatsoever.
CPU: i3-2350M and Bios F.0A, B0Y11EA#ABD

What am i exactly going to do know since the Probook Installer is only made till 10.8.1?

Installed everything like said in the Probook-Installer-Threat but ended up with a destroyed System. Had to reinstall.

Thanks a lot!

Welcome to the forums. It will be much easier for you to get assistance with your issues if you give detailed information.
What options did you install from the Probook Installer?
Can you clarify "destroyed System?"
What happened when you rebooted after installing and running the Probook Installer?

Thanks again.
This workes perfectly:
http://www.tonymacx86.com/hp-probook/63348-hp-probook-installer-4-1b1-84.html#post453413

But found those 2 problems:
- Sceenbrightness Steps are OK after Sleep, but only react in very big steps after Restart
- boot0 Error: GPT and test

Any fast fixes?

Thanks alot!

Brightness is known issue. Maybe someday someone will figure out why...

And the other... you have a 4k/AF hard disk. See: http://www.tonymacx86.com/25-boot0-error-official-guide.html

Thanks Guy.
Startup works just fine now, too.

DVD-RW not working?!

Do a search here. Certain DVD model(s) have an issue being recognized. I think someone has found a solution. I'm not aware as my model seems to be not affected and I don't ever use it anyway (it is sitting in a closet -- and I have the option to put a HDD in there instead)...
