i searched this boot0 and see MANY people having same issue
but doesn't seem there was any solution

strange as i am 100% i did this correctly
what am I and many others missing here?

i wish blueking was up, it's only 2:15am here in NY :)

Re: followed blueking probook installer to the T and...

so i looked at my HD brand:

Seagate Momentus ST9750420AS 750GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache 2.5" SATA 3.0Gb/s

any way to change this 4k sector thingy? or it is what it is, it's hardware?

Re: followed blueking probook installer to the T and...

this 750gb Seagate 4k sector drive was NOT the one that came with my probook 4530s

the one that came is 500gb Hitachi with windows 7 pro
i just wanted to keep that one untouched

Re: followed blueking probook installer to the T and...

Same problem with my install two days ago. Following the FAQ link provided above fixed it in a jiffy. Thanks for all the help, guys.

It's hardware. You can not change it.
Lets hope future updates at chameleon will fix this issue

nikstar

i see, so all this manual fix for this 4k
can be done by chameleon if it were added

would be great, as so many HD's nowadays are 4k

Re: followed blueking probook installer to the T and...

Yes the guys at voodooprojects are working for solving it.

1- Download Rboot (LE if you re working on a laptop)
3- burn it to a cd with a slow speed
3- boot from Rboot
4- Once on ur desktop run Multibeast and install Chimera + EasyBeast and don t forget to install both with System Utilities checked
5- Restart ur computer and boot without Rboot,,,

This should work as it saved me troubles 2 times after recovery,

Good Luck

Re: followed blueking probook installer to the T and...

so this method will permanently fix my boot problem?

or should i follow the other guide, running terminal, typing in that command, etc..??
